The thing you get is a lens: one public link where anyone can ask you questions and get answers in your voice, drawn from your own material. If someone asks something your material does not cover, the lens says so honestly instead of guessing, and can pass the question to the real you.

The one-conversation flow

Here is the whole thing, start to finish.

First you connect the connector. Each assistant has its own short setup, covered in the guides for Claude and ChatGPT. It is one URL you add once.

Then you just talk. Tell the assistant who you are and what you want your page to answer: your work, your expertise, the questions people always ask you. Paste in a bio, a few notes, a link to your site. The assistant reads it and proposes a profile: a name, a short description, the topics your lens should cover, and the boundaries it should keep.

You look it over and confirm. Nothing is created until you say yes, and the assistant only uses what you actually gave it. The moment you approve, it builds the lens and hands back two links: a share link that is live immediately, and a claim link.

Open the claim link, sign up for free, and the lens is yours to keep. You do not need an account to create one, which is why this can all happen in a single chat. A lens you never claim simply expires after thirty days, so nothing lingers.

You are not building a page. You are having a conversation, and a page is what it leaves behind.

What your twin can do once it is live

A finished lens is more than a chatbot on a link.

• It answers in your voice, grounded only in your material, and shows its sources so visitors can see where an answer came from.
• It refuses honestly when a question is outside what you have given it, which is exactly what makes it safe to put your name on.

Keep feeding it

Do I need an account to create my twin?

No. A connected AI assistant can create a lens for you with no signup. You get a live share link and a claim link, and you only sign up, for free, when you want to keep it. An unclaimed lens expires after thirty days.

Which assistants can do this?

What can my twin answer?

Whatever you give it: your bio, your notes, your site, your past answers. It stays inside that material and, when a question falls outside it, tells the visitor honestly and flags it for you rather than guessing.

Can it use my own voice?

Yes. Once you have claimed your lens, you can record a voice so calls and read-aloud replies sound like you, or use a natural stock voice instead. All generated audio carries a machine-readable marking that identifies it as AI.

Is it pretending to be me?

No. Visitors know they are talking to your twin, not to you in disguise. The goal is to represent what you know honestly when you cannot be there, not to trick anyone.
