Slack
Connect a lens to a Slack workspace so a team can ask it questions without leaving Slack.
Connect a lens to Slack and people can talk to it right inside a channel. It answers with the same scoped knowledge, the same voice and tone, and the same privacy rules as the web link.
It is a good fit for a lens built from shared material: onboarding answers, how-we-work docs, project context.
Set it up
On the lens’s page, open the Slack card and connect a workspace. Once it is installed, mention the lens in a channel and it answers from its scope.
Privacy
- The Slack version answers from the same spaces as the web lens, nothing more.
- The same refusal rules apply: sensitive details stay private, in Slack just like on the web.
Webhooks
For deeper automation, a lens can also send webhooks when things happen. Wire them into your own tools from the lens’s settings.
Paid lenses in Slack
Slack cannot take payments yet. If your lens has a subscription price, Slack visitors get a short message pointing them to your web page to subscribe, and they can chat in Slack once they are members. The Slack card in your lens settings reminds you of this whenever the lens is priced. See Paid lenses.
Availability
Slack and webhooks are part of the higher plans. Plans and limits are shown in the app; see Plans and billing.
