Quickstart

Sign up, walk through the short setup, capture your first knowledge, and watch your lens answer from it.

Sign up and set up

Create your account at https://app.mindola.ai. Right after signup, Mindola walks you through five quick steps. Only the first one is required; everything else you can skip and finish later.

  1. Name your lens - what your audience will see at the top of the chat. This creates your lens (your workspace) right away.
  2. Claim your link - a short address like mindola.ai/me/your-name. Mindola checks availability as you type. Skip it and your lens still gets a private link.
  3. Give it a face - upload a photo or logo shown next to every reply.
  4. Give it your voice - pick a ready-made voice, or clone your own on plans that include voice cloning. Your lens can speak its answers out loud.
  5. Teach it three things - answer three short questions. These become your lens’s first knowledge, so it has something to say from minute one.

When you finish, you land on your lens page with your public link ready to share.

If you leave halfway, that’s fine: your lens already exists after step 1, and next time you sign in you continue where you left off. Once you’ve finished (or skipped through) the steps, setup never shows again, on any device.

Say something real

Open Home and type into the composer at the bottom of the page - something true about you:

I’m planning a trip to Portugal in September and I want it to be mostly food and walking.

Press Enter. Behind the scenes, Mindola files what it learned into your knowledge.

Ask it back

Now open the chat and ask a question that depends on what you just saved:

What kind of trip am I planning?

It answers from your memory, not a guess. That loop - capture, then ask - is the whole product. See asking your brain for more.

Drop a PDF anywhere on Home, or paste a web link into the same composer. Mindola detects what you gave it, reads it, indexes it, and can quote it back to you with citations. Adding knowledge covers every source type.

Look at what it learned

Open Spaces or Mind in the app. You’ll see your captures organized into spaces - no filing required. Your mind explains what you’re looking at.

Share a slice of it

Once you’ve captured a bit, that’s a brain worth sharing. Build a lens - a link to a chosen slice of your knowledge - and send it to someone. They get a small chat that answers from just that slice.

Try this

  • Capture three things across a day instead of one long dump. Short and frequent beats long and rare.
  • When an answer is wrong, tell it - corrections update your memory.
