The interview
Do not know where to start? The interview asks you short questions and files each answer into your knowledge as a fact.
What it’s for
An empty mind, or a lens with only a thin slice behind it, is hard to use. The interview helps you get started from nothing: Mindola asks you short, focused questions one at a time, and saves each answer as a fact.
How it works
Open Interview in the app, then:
- Pick a space for the answers to land in, or let it ask broadly. See Spaces.
- Optionally add a focus line, like “ask me about my work history”, to steer the questions.
- Answer in your own words. Each reply becomes a fact in that space.
- Hit Done when you have covered enough.
When to use it
- Right after signing up, to seed your brain quickly.
- When a lens feels empty. Interview yourself on that lens’s topic to fill the gap.
- Any time you want to capture a whole area at once instead of one small piece at a time.
Try this
- Building a lens about your job? Run an interview focused on your role first, scoped to that lens’s space. Ten minutes of questions makes a lens feel real. See Building a lens.
