Docs / Inbox and audience
Audience
See everyone who has talked to your lens, grouped by person instead of by session, with filters, private notes, and lead capture built in.
Audience is the people side of sharing. Where the inbox is organized by conversation, Audience is organized by person. It is a lightweight CRM for the people your lens is talking to. The page shows the lens you are currently working in; switch lenses from your avatar menu and the list switches with you.
A “person” here is one device (browser). When a visitor gives an email at your lens’s email gate, it appears on their row, with a check mark when they verified it by code. That is the honest picture: a verified email means it is really their inbox, and no email means you know the device, not the identity.
The list
Each row shows who they are (name or email if captured), how many questions they have asked, when they were last seen, and when they first arrived. Rows with refused answers carry a small amber count.
Filter with the chips above the list: Has email, Active 7d, and Refused. You can also search by name and email. The chips combine, so “Has email” plus “Refused” finds exactly the leads whose questions your lens could not answer yet.
The person sheet
Click a row and the visitor’s sheet slides in:
- Identity: name, email with a
mailto:link, and verification status. - Their conversations: every session, one click from opening it in the inbox.
- The AI’s profile summary, your notes, and quick facts: the same panel you see in the inbox, so a person looks identical on both surfaces.
- A refused shortcut: if any of their questions were refused, jump straight to those conversations in the inbox.
How lenses remember visitors
A lens does not start cold every time. Within a visitor’s session it keeps a running summary, and over time it builds a light picture of who they are, enough to stay consistent and pick up where things left off.
This is the visitor’s private continuity. They never see it, and it never leaks back out.
Your notes about a visitor
On the person sheet, or through the Profile button in the inbox, you can add your own:
- Notes: free text about who this person is.
- Properties: structured details, like company or role.
The lens treats your notes as trusted background and uses them to shape how it responds, without bringing them up unless the visitor does first. If someone important is talking to your lens, a one-line note like “investor, met at the conference” makes every future answer land better.
Visitor memory and your notes stay on your side. The lens uses them to be a better representative of you; it never reads them back to the visitor.
Leads: when a visitor gives you their email
If your lens uses the email gate (see Access and privacy), the email a visitor types appears on their profile as a Lead block, with the address, a one-click copy, and two timestamps:
- Captured: the moment they first typed the email.
- Verified: set only after they confirmed the one-time code Mindola emailed them. Verified means it is really their inbox.
A small mail icon next to the conversation in the list shows the same thing at a glance: accent color when verified, muted when only captured. Use the mailto: link from the profile to reply outside the lens.
The visitor cap
Every plan has a cap on how many visitors the Audience page shows at once; the exact numbers per plan are shown in the app. When you reach the cap, the page switches to showing your most recent visitors for the lens and adds a banner telling you to upgrade to track more.
The cap is dashboard-only. Even past the cap, visitors who chat with your lens still get full answers, their conversations still happen normally, and memory and replies are unaffected. Older visitors simply fall off the bottom of the list when newer ones come in; they were never blocked or refused.
To track more visitors, upgrade from Settings. The next plan up immediately raises your visible window, the banner goes away, and past visitors who fell off the list reappear once you have the room. See Plans and billing.
Try this
- Turn on Has email and work the list top to bottom. These are your leads, freshest first.
- Turn on Refused and open each sheet’s refused shortcut. Answering those gaps is the fastest way to make the lens better for the people already using it.
