Lens settings

One page, autosaved

Open Lens and then Customize. There are no steps and no Save button to hunt for: edits save automatically a moment after you make them, and the corner of the page tells you when everything is stored. To see the result, open your public link from the Lens page; the link chip is always one click away.

Essentials first

Each section shows only what matters most. The rest sits behind a quiet Show more row that names what is inside. If you have already configured something advanced (a password, a custom link, a price), that group opens by itself, so nothing you set is ever hidden.

The sections

• Identity - the photo first (the face is the identity), then the lens name (private, just for you), the display name, and the welcome message. Show more: suggested questions and quick links (your website, booking page, socials). The welcome message and questions can be generated from your knowledge with one click.
• Personality - how it writes: point of view (speaks as you, or about you) and tone. Show more: how strictly it sticks to your notes, and free-form rules (“Always reply in Dutch”, “Never share my address”). See Appearance and tone.
• Voice - how it sounds. Record or upload a voice clone (with consent confirmation), or pick a stock voice for calls and read-aloud replies.
• Appearance - light or dark look and your accent color.
• Share - your public link, plus the QR code and embed snippet. Show more: a custom slug, a custom domain (attach your own hostname and verify it via DNS), the Slack app, and webhooks for your own integrations.
• Access - pause or resume the public link. Show more: visitor gates (ask for a name, an email, or a verified email), the AI-consent message, an optional password, link expiry, and what the lens can read: everything in the workspace (the default) or only selected spaces. See Access and privacy.
• Monetization - one line tells you the current state (Free, or your price). Expand it to set a monthly price for access via Stripe and to manage the products your lens may recommend in conversation. See Paid lenses and products.
• Advanced - duplicate the lens into a new workspace with the same persona and settings.

Plan limits

Locked features (voice clone, custom slug, Slack, embeds) stay visible with a short note about the plan they need; nothing is hidden. Your plan and its limits are shown in the app; see Plans and billing.

One lens at a time

Think of each lens as a workspace. When you are inside a lens, everything in the app belongs to it: what you see in Knowledge, what your Home chat answers from, and the conversations in your Inbox.

To switch:

1. Click the lens name at the top of the sidebar, or your avatar in the top-right corner.
2. Pick the lens you want; the active one shows a check mark.
3. The app refreshes and you are inside the other lens.

Creating another lens

In the same menu, choose New lens. Give it a name, and that is all it needs. The new lens starts as a fresh workspace with its own space, and you land inside it right away. Your plan sets how many lenses you can have; the menu shows your count when you reach the limit.

Try this

1. Open settings and drop in a photo; it is the very first field.
2. Type a new welcome message, wait a beat, and watch the corner say “Saved”.
3. Open Share, then Show more, and claim a custom slug for your link.
4. Capture a note, switch lenses, and look at Knowledge: the note stays with the lens you captured it in. That is the whole idea, so feed each lens its own world.
