Introduction
Mindola is a second brain you build from your own material and share as a lens, one link where people ask questions and get answers grounded in what you added.
Mindola is your second brain. You build it by capturing what’s on your mind - thoughts, answers, links, documents - and Mindola turns it all into a private, organized memory you can ask anything.
Then comes the part that makes it worth building: you can share a slice of that brain with other people through a single link, called a lens.
The two halves of the product
- Build your brain. Capture is your home screen in the app at https://app.mindola.ai. Ask questions, paste thoughts, drop links and files. Everything becomes searchable memory the AI is grounded in. This side is private.
- Share your brain. A lens is a shareable link to a chosen slice of your knowledge. Send it to a friend, a customer, a community - they can talk to it without you in the room.
What a lens is
A lens is one public link, like mindola.ai/me/your-name. Anyone who opens it gets a chat that answers as you would, but only from the material you chose to share. Every answer shows its sources, and if your material does not cover a question, the lens says so honestly instead of guessing.
You can try one right now: the live demo lens at https://mindola.ai/me/charles-darwin is free and open to everyone.
Why people build one
- Stop re-explaining yourself, to the AI and to other people.
- Turn what you know into something you can hand to someone with a link.
- Keep one trusted memory instead of scattered notes, docs, and chats.
Your brain stays yours: encrypted, exportable, and deletable. Nothing is shared unless you publish a lens.
Where to go next
- Follow the quickstart to sign up, capture your first knowledge, and see it answered.
- Read about lenses to understand the shareable side in depth.
